The Community Services League (CSL) has many branches located throughout KC, including a local branch here in Blue Springs. CSL believes in "Helping People Help Themselves," by providing a broad spectrum of services to the community including emergency assistance, housing assistance, counseling and employment development services. FCC helps by providing physical assistance at events, financial donations and by gathering donations of household goods such as clothing and food. We also have two special collections through out the year to help with the annual CSL School Supply Drive and the annual CSL Christmas Store.
The food pantry at CSL excepts all non-perishable food items, but is currently especially low on the following items:
ramen noodles, spaghetti and pork n' beans
With winter months approaching, CSL will be receiving more and more requests for utility assistance. Contact the office if you would like to help support this cause.
